The rules for using the Glendale Band Boosters website

This website is operated by the Glendale Band Booster Club, Inc. for the benefit of the Glendale High School band program. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who may use this site

Accounts are for band students and their parents or guardians, along with band directors and booster volunteers. You may only create an account for a student you are the parent or legal guardian of, and you may only link to a student whose Student ID and last name you have been given for that purpose.

Your account

  • Give accurate information when you register and keep it current.
  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.
  • Do not share your login with anyone outside your household.

Acceptable use

When using this site, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to access another family's student or financial records.
  • Attempt to guess, probe for, or collect Student IDs or other account identifiers.
  • Interfere with the site, bypass security, or introduce malicious code.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or submit data through the site.
  • Upload or send content that is unlawful, harassing, or inappropriate, particularly given that our community includes minors.

Fees and payments

  • Band fees shown in your account are set by the band program and the Boosters.
  • Online payments are processed by Stripe. A processing fee may be added and is shown to you before you pay. The Boosters receive none of that processing fee.
  • Bank transfers and physical checks are recorded as pending until the funds clear or a booster finance officer verifies them. Your balance updates at that point, not before.
  • If you believe your balance is incorrect, contact the boosters treasurer. Please do not stop payment without speaking to us first.

Refunds. Band fees are used to fund the program throughout the season and are generally non-refundable once paid. If you believe a payment was made in error, contact us promptly and we will work with you in good faith.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep balances, schedules, and account details accurate, but the site is maintained by volunteers and errors can occur. Account balances shown here are for your convenience; the Boosters' official financial records govern in the event of a discrepancy.

Availability

We provide this site on a best effort basis and it may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Privacy

Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Glendale Band Booster Club, Inc., its officers, and its volunteers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending access

We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms or that is used in a way that puts student information at risk. You may ask us to close your account at any time, subject to the records we are required to keep.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
